Nevada Conservation League Announce Seven Figure Expansion to Electoral Program

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Following the Nevada Conservation League’s previous announced investment of $2 million into Nevada’s electoral program, the Nevada Conservation League are proud to announce an additional $1 million in new spending to re-elect Governor Sisolak and additional state-level targets. This boosts overall electoral spending to roughly $3.2 million.

“Thanks to Nevada’s pro-environmental decision makers, our state is on a smoother path towards a cleaner, just, and equitable future. From passing bold climate legislation, signing ambitious executive actions, and securing robust federal funding, there is no doubt that their actions have been vital in combating the climate crisis while boosting Nevada’s clean energy economy,” said Nevada Conservation League Political & Organizing Director, Andrew Sierra. “If we want to continue this historic progress, we need to re-elect pro-conservation champions up and down the ballot – this is why we’re doubling down on our current efforts while expanding our electoral targets. Let it be known that the Nevada Conservation League will always be there to support, invest in, and defend our conservation champions.”

The Nevada Conservation League investments now top more than $3.2 million. Additional funding is going towards strengthening current field operations while also expanding state-level targets in key legislative districts. This comes as the Nevada Conservation League launched their first TV ad of the election cycle, a Spanish language TV advertisement, highlighting the economic benefits of a clean energy economy and in support of Governor Steve Sisolak.

More information on additional Nevada’s State Level Targets:

During the past two election cycles, the Nevada Conservation League is credited with helping flip control of the Governor’s mansion and defending legislative majorities in both chambers. These crucial wins have resulted in Nevada becoming a national leader on clean energy, all while protecting precious natural resources, conserving public lands, and paving the way for a healthier environment. These funds will build upon previous early investments that will continue to build relationships, name ID, and trust between the expected 2022 electorate and the decision-makers that will appear on their ballots.
